 Youth DNow
February 27 - March 1, 2015
In every exchange, something must be given up in order for something to be gained.  At the heart of the Gospel there is a single, powerful exchange that occurred when a flawless Savior took the flaws of humanity to the cross, ex-changing His life for ours.  But this exchange actually empowers countless exchanges in the lives of those who will believe and follow. Death for Life, Self for Christ, Hate for Love, Comfort for Calling
Not only did the youth have an awesome time of learning the joying of "exchanging" their lives for Christ, they also participated in a "water" experience.  Saturday afternoon, all the youth met at the church and received two 1-gallon jugs.  They proceeded to walk approximately 3 miles to the local fire station downtown.  There they had their jugs filled with water and walked the 3 miles back to the church.  Why?  To do once what so many children have to do every day in Africa.  The average child walks about 7 miles a day carrying 3 to 4 gallons.  This was a lesson not only learned, but experienced.

G.U.T.S. is our Sunday night (6 to 7pm), intensive Bible study time.  During this time, we do more than just "scratch the surface" of Scripture.

Students can expect a time of raw, verse by verse exposition of Scripture.  No music, no video or other forms of media.  Just reading the Word of God for what it is and studying what it means.

This provides the foundation not only in our students' faith, but also for what they learn in Sunday school and in Youth 180.

Following Christ is not for the weak, rather for those who have the G.U.T.S. to risk going deeper in their relationship with Jesus.
